Welcome to Caribbean Fishing with BigJoe. By using this website and the BigJoe app you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language.

Using the guides

The fish guides, hot-spot maps, weather, tides, rigs, lures and recipes are free for your personal use. They are general information to help you fish and cook. Weather, sea conditions and local rules change, so use your own judgment on the water.

Our content

The text, maps, drawings and site design belong to Caribbean Fishing with BigJoe unless a credit says otherwise. Photos from other people are used under their license and credited on the page or on our photo credits pages. You are welcome to share links to any page. Please do not copy whole pages or photos to another site without asking.

Your photos and posts

If you join as a member or captain and share catch photos, trips or charter details, you keep ownership of them. You give BigJoe permission to show them on the site and app. Only post photos you took or have the right to share, and nothing illegal or offensive. We may remove posts that break these rules.

Affiliate links

Some links go to stores like Amazon. If you buy through them, BigJoe may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, BigJoe earns from qualifying purchases. BigJoe only recommends gear we think is worth it.

Charters and other websites

Charter captains listed in the directory run their own businesses. You book and pay them directly, and BigJoe is not part of that agreement. Links to other websites are for your convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

No warranty

We work hard to keep everything accurate, but the site is provided as it is, without guarantees. BigJoe is not liable for losses that come from using the site.
