Data rule: Islands, rocks, marinas and boat ramps come from OpenStreetMap. Marine parks come from the World Database on Protected Areas. Fishing spots are only placed on mapped islands and rocks, and never inside or next to a no-fishing area. BigJoe does not invent coordinates.

Big game, the Bocas and Tobago's reefs

Barbados sits out in the Atlantic with deep water all around it, so charter boats out of Bridgetown and Port St. Charles are into blue marlin, wahoo, yellowfin tuna and mahi-mahi within minutes of the harbour. Tobago's north-east tip, from Speyside to the Sisters and St. Giles, is rich water where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean, with big jacks, snappers and wahoo. In Trinidad, the Bocas del Dragón, the channels between Chacachacare, Huevos, Monos and Gaspar Grande, run hard with current and hold tarpon, snook, kingfish and jacks, while the north and east coasts around Toco and Galera Point face open Atlantic swell.

Folkestone and Carlisle Bay in Barbados and Buccoo Reef in Tobago are marine reserves. They show in red on the map.
